Founded in 1998, The Tulane Prevention Research Center (PRC) addresses the impact of the physical and social environments on obesity and its behavioral determinants (diet and physical activity) through research, collaboration with community partners and policymakers, and communication to build healthier communities in New Orleans and beyond.
This project enlisted the assistance of many of our team. We helped with web development and design, branding, photography and content management. Using news aggregation tools built by Canary, PRC now curates a content-rich resource for public health practitioners, policy-makers, and community partners. The end result has been a very successful re-brand and launch for the PRC.
In 2011, the PRC site was awarded a Web Health Award
