We had the idea for Dirty Coast in 2005 when we realized that there were very few well designed and interesting shirts that dealt with New Orleans and Coastal Louisiana. Go figure. A city with 2-million t-shirt shops in the French Quarter and none of them were worth wearing. After a few months of coming up with designs and getting things rolling Katrina happened and things got interesting. Suddenly everyone was making New Orleans oriented t-shirts. Some good and some so bad they reach the point of being great.
